Research and
Development Activities
In Betonsa Technology Center, technological improvements in cement, aggregates,
chemical and mineral additives are continuously monitored and studies
are carried out for new products in line with the developments and market
expectations in laboratory and field circumstances. Studies for configuring
the most economic product by conducting cost optimizations and by taking
into account the needs and setbacks of the sector, without compromising
from quality are always in effect in the R&D laboratories. Procured
materials also go through the same process and analyses in
order to determine whether they fulfill the standards and can be utilized.
The
Technology Center also provides technical support
for the regional sales departments and regional quality
units. The related departments cooperate for upholding
customer satisfaction
While R&D and optimization works
continue in the laboratories, joint studies are carried
out with universities, and some
of these studies are published as papers or articles, shared
in national/international platforms such as technical congresses,
seminars or symposiums and published in sectoral magazines.
Communication
of the Company with the sector and the community is being
supported actively by participating in exhibitions
and developing projects so as to enhance the Companys
image. The Technology Center while monitoring other companies
and products in Turkey and on the world, has established
the Cement Quality Organization and the foundations of
the cooperation developed with Heidelberg Technology Center
(HTC)
