Specially developed for the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge project by Turkey’s leader construction materials company Akçansa, 100+ Beton is a special product produced with low alkali special cement and mineral additive, and developed for the projects with a service life of 100 years and more.

65% ground blast furnace cinder (GBFC) and 35% 100+ Cement has been used as a binder in the production of 100+Beton. For aggregate, washed crushed stone supplied from aggregate resources, which have passed the durability tests and approved by independent laboratories, have been used.

Reliable offering 100-year service life criteria with the special raw materials used in production, 100+Beton has high water tightness and durability specifications. Chloride permeability coefficient is maximum 3*10 m/s.

Houses and similar reinforced structures generally have an economical service life of 50 years. More important structures such as bridges, dams etc. are expected to serve for a longer period, such as 100 years, without causing any problem.

STEEL FIBER-REINFORCED CONCRETE

Drabeton is the steel fiber-reinforced concrete product of BETONSA. It is produced in the Betonsa Ready-Mixed Concrete facilities by using Dramix steel wires. Steel wires are reliably distributed by being controlled in every direction of the concrete, including the surface and edges. Thus, a three-dimensional reinforcement system is obtained with Drabeton. As a result, this concrete resists complicated loads, and significantly reduces the cracking risk.

 

  • Dramix steel wires produced by Bekaert, the biggest wire producer of the world;
  • Comply with TS 10513 standard.
  • Are a C1008 class special steel wire with low carbon.
  • Have a tensile strength that is two times better than St IV-b steel used in making steel mesh. (1100 N/mm2)

It is practical, because it saves time compared to the steel mesh applications. It is practically difficult to place the reinforcement correctly in steel mesh applications. In Drabeton, steel wire reinforcement is equally dispersed in all directions.

It is affordable, because construction time shortens and saving is ensured in labor as Drabeton does not required additional reinforcement. In addition to this, Drabeton saves from labor in design, drawing, measuring, cutting, welding, stocking, placing, and auditing stages compared to traditional reinforcement. Slab thickness is reduced with Drabeton, thus the total cost decreases.

It has a long service life, because Drabeton increases the ductility. Energy absorption capacity of the ground concrete increases. Thus, the service life of ground increases. Cracking control is provided by the steel reinforcement dispersing to entire section. Cracks based on temperature change and different hardening processes are eliminated. Steel wires prevent the crack from growing by acting as a bridge on the crack tending to grow. Consequently, durability of the concrete increases. It displays high resistance against dynamic loads and shocking impacts. Ground concretes with wider joint spaces are obtained with Drabeton.

MACRO SYNTHETIC FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE

Fortabeton, the Macro Synthetic Fiber Reinforced Concrete product of Betonsa, is produced at the Betonsa Ready-Mixed Concrete facilities by using Forta-Ferro macro synthetic fibers.

Particularly offering a complete solution in industrial ground concretes, Fortabeton;

  • Is a composite material consisted from the combination of concrete and reinforcement.
  • Is ductile.
  • Has high resistance against high deflection, impact, and wearing.

Forta-Ferro is consisted from the combination of polypropylene and polyethylene polymers; 6% polypropylene + 94% copolymer (single fiber). Polypropylene fiber is a structure with long service life and with a shape of twisted bunch for reducing the cracks related to shrinkage and temperature, and copolymer fiber is a structure with long service life and with a shape of twisted bunch for increasing the load transfer and the performance after crack.

POLYPROPYLENE FIBER CONCRETE PREVENTING CRACK AT EARLY STAGES

It is the polypropylene fiber concrete prepared at the Betonsa Ready-Mixed Concrete Facilities. Polypropylene fiber is the up-to-date application of reinforcement (like horse hair and hay) used in antique mortar and plaster for centuries. A better internal structure is obtained by homogeneously mixing the polypropylene fibers to the concrete, and the resistance against fresh concrete cracks is increased.

  • It reduces the plastic shrinkage cracks of the concrete arising due to strong wind, hot and dry weather, and high concrete temperature during the first hours.
  • It increases the resistance of the concrete against frosting-defrosting.
  • It increases wearing resistance, and prevents chalking.
  • It increases the cohesion of fresh concrete, and reduces the fractures while removing the mould.

LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE OUTSTANDING INSULATION

It is a light product of Betonsa for insulation. It weighs one fourth of normal concretes and screeds. It is fluid while fresh, and can be pumped with screed or concrete pump.

İzobeton is consisted of cement, fine aggregate (sand), lightweight aggregate, and chemical additives. Lightweight aggregate used is expanded polystyrene (EPS). Cellular structure of EPS brings both lightness and thermal insulation and sound absorption to İZOBETON.
